Supporting access to quality education for people with short stature, challenging discrimination in schools and promoting inclusive learning.
Low educational attainment is one of the clearest markers of exclusion among people with short stature in Rwanda. Children are held back by inaccessible classrooms, by teasing that goes unchallenged, and by low expectations from adults around them.
RULP works with schools, parents and district education officers to keep our members in education, and to make sure that the physical environment and the attitudes inside a school do not push them out of it.
